I have also provided family therapy sessions to help manage parent child conflicts; behavioral issues; issues as a result of divorce/ separation; and attachment disorders within the family system.
My approach includes the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Dialectical Behavorial Therapy; and Family Systems Theory. I have extensive experience working in the child welfare field providing reunification services. I specialize in working with Children; Adolescents; and Adults.

My name is Brenda Carroll Grable, a Licensed Behavior Specialist and Mobile Therapist with a local Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation Agency in Exton, Pennsylvania. I have over 10 years of mental health experience. I am a dedicated and seasoned therapist who has much to offer in terms of knowledge, experience, empathy, and enthusiasm with the ability to bring high professional standards to the workplace with proven work ethics, awards, and leadership skills.
I possess two Master’s degrees. The first degree is a Master of Social Work specializing in child and family therapy, obtained at West Chester University in 2008. My second degree is a Master of Science, specializing in administration of justice and security from the University of Phoenix.
I have extensive background and experience working with various populations and mental health disorders which includes: Individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, Adults with Traumatic Brain Injury, Geriatrics, High Conflict Divorce Cases and Early Childhood Education. My experience includes working in an office setting, a residential facility and providing in-home services. My current practice includes: working with children and their families. My specialties include but are not limited to working with clients on the autism spectrum, mild depression, oppositional defiant disorder, high conflict divorce/separations and attachment disorder. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child and Family Strength Based therapy. My focus is to meet clients and their families where they are while building on strengths and relationships. I am comfortable with collaborating and networking with families and working with agencies to provide the necessary resources to help their needs.
I am a trained Professional Supervised Visitation Provider and have attended training provided by the Chester County Court System. I have been applying my supervised visitation skills for over 4 years.
My goal during supervised visits is to ensure the safety of everyone involved while providing a secure and enjoyable visit for the child and visiting parent.
I have 2 boys, 7 and 11. My hobbies include volunteering at his kids’ school, scouting and gardening.
